Happy Earth Day! 🌎 Anna and I started LuminAID because we believe light makes a difference. We were inspired to invent the LuminAID solar light when we were graduate students in architecture school, shortly after the 2010 Haiti Earthquake. We saw the need for a lightweight, portable source of light that could be recharged in the sun, and so we invented the LuminAID, the world's first inflatable solar lantern.

"Who would've thought that festive camping lights could also be an educational tool! My son, Gavin, is learning his colors and the Spectra has been perfect for that. He was able to change the colors by himself and correctly name each one (insert proud mom moment). We decorated our tent with red, white, and blue Spectra lights, and used the Nova to plan our hikes. The lights were perfect for illuminating our campsite and keeping Gavin safe while he played in the dirt from dusk to dark." -- Megan
