Manufacturing Monday. One of the services we offer our token customers is piercing. Piercing is done after we mint the tokens and it punches a predetermined shape through the center of the token. The shape can be a circle, a star, a square, a half moon etc. It doesn't hurt the token in any way, but helps distinguish it when it's seen with other coins or tokens.

Manufacturing Monday. This super cool video shows the timing of the die strike in one of our presses. The moving dial would normally be carrying a blank and then the bottom die and corresponding top die (not in the machine at this time) would crush the blank between them. The finished coin would be ejected and a fresh blank would drop in to start the process again.
